When boarding your pet at Grandview Animal Hospital, you can rest assured that your pet will be in the trained, caring and capable hands of our animal care specialist team.
Here at Grandview Animal Hospital, we understand that the decision to board your pet is a decision not to be taken lightly. It is difficult to think of your pet out of his/her home environment while you are away. We strive to provide the finest services available in veterinary medicine and pet-care today.
Boarding at Grandview Animal Hospital is provided as a service to our veterinary clientele. If your pet has never been to our hospital, it is easy to become a veterinary patient/client. All that is required is a pre-boarding examination by one of our veterinarians, and a copy of your pet's recent vaccination history.
All dogs and cats must be up-to-date on distemper & rabies vaccinations and be fully examined by one of our veterinarians within the past year of the pet's boarding stay. Dogs must also be up-to-date on the kennel cough vaccination and proof of yearly negative fecal (stool sample) and heartworm tests are also required.
One of the many benefits of boarding your pet at our veterinary facility is that if your pet should become ill for any reason during a boarding stay, a veterinarian is available on premises for assistance.
Your pet is monitored for appetite, urine and fecal output, and behavior. Our veterinarians are updated daily on the status of your pet during their stay. If needed, your companion can then be treated accordingly by the doctors and staff that you trust most, your own veterinary hospital.
Compassionate quality care and outside play time will make every pet's stay enjoyable, allowing both owner & pet to have a relaxing time.
