After euthanasia or if your pet passes at home - you have three basic options for the remains:

1.  CREMATION - is either done as a group (congregate) or individual.  Animals cremated in a group do not have remains (ashes) returned to the owner.  Individual cremations are done one at a time and YOUR pet's remains are returned to you via Grandview Animal Hospital.  There is a difference in price between congregate and individual cremation.  We use and recommend the cremation services of Rolling Acres.

2.  BURIAL in a pet cemetery - there are pet cemeteries at Rolling Acres and Wayside Waifs.  You can make arrangements for a memorial service, grave marker and casket.  Contact Rolling Acres or Wayside Waifs directly for information.

3.  BURIAL at home - if you prefer to take your pet home for burial there may be regulations or recommendations made by your local municipality.

Please call if you have any questions regarding your options for cremation and burial.  We can work with you to have arrangements made in advance.
